Message From Chairman

Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) is a renowned public university in Bangladesh, established in 2007. In 2010, Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina formally inaugurated the new campus of JUST. The Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (GEBT) at JUST was established in 2009. This department offer graduate and postgraduate degree with a comprehensive education in all aspects of modern genetic engineering and biotechnology along with hands-on experience with modern techniques and technologies to develop and improve products and processes made from living systems. The department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology JUST has started to show its contribution to various fields of Biotechnology. The department aims to keep up with the overall growth and rapid advances in Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology and to prepare the students for rewarding careers in the field of Biotechnology, whether in Industry, academia, or Government. Therefore, expertise in this field is needed and the main aim of our department is to provide the expertise.
